Hello, my name is Chrissy, and I am a mom, a wife, a daughter, and a sister, all within my household. Not to mention, I also have a full-time job!

I have been baking for family and friends' events for many years now. Seeing as I have been the host of many family gatherings throughout my adulthood, I’ve had a lot of time to experiment and play with different recipes and baking methods. Though in the past, I’ve focused mainly on taste and not on looks.

My interest in making more professional looking items began when a friend of mine forgot he was on “cake-duty” for his son's first birthday photoshoot. He wanted a cake that would look good, and that his son could dig into. I knew I needed to try my best to make a cake that looked presentable and captured one of this family's most precious memories. So, I dug out my white icing, a spatula, a butter knife, and began icing this cake. I got some red writing gel to create stitching that resembled a baseball. The photos turned out adorable! Not because of my cake though, haha! Despite my own thoughts, I got many compliments on that cake. I have always been told that I need to do this stuff professionally. But first, I needed a lot of practice. 

Fast forward a couple years, and after many (and I mean MANY) videos, tutorials, blogs, etc. later, I'm still learning. I'm still practicing. Who knew that getting the perfect buttercream, and the perfect royal icing consistency would be so challenging!

I currently take orders that I can manage on evenings and weekends. Who knows where this will take me?  It's a pretty amazing feeling to have complete strangers trust in what I do, and to create something magical for their special occasions. I promise to never take that for granted.
